This garment was selected for my expecting granddaughter. She had been wearing the same old dresses that had now lost all their form as she grew larger. This abaya is simple and pretty, giving an elegant appearance to casual wear. The fabric is nice, too. I normally wear the 56 length in abayas from EE, but these run longer, so go a size or two shorter unless you plan to wear it with heels or like your abaya to drag the ground. I recommend that you sew the pleats flat all the way down the dress, unless you like starching and ironing them every time you wear it.
